Position Title:  Maintenance Process Coach-Facilities

Responsibilities:
 

  • Plant Layout:  Prepare CAD drawings; design and drafting function, Develop, implement and execute Plant Capitol Budget projects , CCM construction projects and non CCM contractor projects.
  1. Oversee all plant drawings, in house and  A/E developed, vendor equipment record retentions, maintain and update the plant drawings file system
  2. Oversee CAD drafting layouts by any agency personnel
  3. Develop Plant layout drawings; design and CAD drafting, for Management & Safety review and approval
  4. Work with Maintenance trades to implement & execute Plant facilities repairs, modifications and improvements
  5. Work with Skilled Trades personnel to order replacement parts, equipment or outside services; send out for quotes, enter quotes into Share Point system for FAB  or CPAARS approval  based on estimate; upon approval, order parts; schedule repairs when parts arrive
  6. Develop & implement Capitol budget projects for major facilities and building repairs, replacement, upgrades or modifications to any of the Plant processes
  7. Develop & implement facilities improvements through the CPAARS purchasing system; develop estimates for repairs or services; enter RQ’s/PO’s into CPAARS based system.; upon approval, order parts or services and schedule repairs 
  8. Develop, implement and execute  Capitol Budget or Plant Expense PO’s, to CCM or non-CCM contractors, for maintenance or construction related tasks; implement, schedule and oversee  construction projects working with CCM or specific task contractors.
  9. Provide Engineering support to Maintenance department; drawings, on site assistance; surveying, interpretation of drawings
  • Power House: Oversee Powerhouse complex daily operations in Power house, Pump house – Cooling Towers, and Waste Treatment Bldg
  1. Assign personnel to complete all PM Inspections; annual, semi-annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly for assigned equipment
  2. Ensure daily records and inspections are conducted for the Boilers, Air Compressors, Refrigerant Air Dryers, Pumps/ Filtration systems equipment
  3. Plan and Assign Powerhouse and Plant Skilled Trades Maintenance personnel for equipment repairs; develop parts repairs/replacement list for all equipment; develop Capitol budget projects for major equipment repairs, replacement, upgrades or modifications to any of the process; develop process improvements
  4. Develop Capitol budget projects for major equipment repairs, replacement, upgrades or modifications to any of the process; develop process improvements
  5. Develop & implement energy conservation projects; electrical gas, compressed air, or Cooling Water reduction
  • Truck/Rack Repair:
  1. Oversee repairs for all Plant vehicular equipment-Electric, propane & diesel; perform all PM Inspections-annual, semi-annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly
  2. Monitor and log in daily Plant equipment repairs, incoming v outgoing
  3. Assign personnel to various equipment repairs, based on expertise
  4. Develop parts repairs/replacement list for all equipment; send out for quotes for repairs; enter quotes into Share Point system for FAB approval or CPAARS based on estimate; upon approval, order parts; schedule repairs when parts arrive
  5. Develop & implement facilities shop improvements through the Capitol Budget and CPAARS purchasing system; develop estimates for repairs or services; enter RQ’s/PO’s into CPAARS based system.; upon approval, order parts or services and schedule repairs
  6. Check in with repair team, MR & WG; check MP & L rack repair requests and prioritize repairs; work with MP & L Supervisors to ensure priority
  7. Develop parts repairs/replacement list for any replacement parts; send out for quotes for repairs; enter quotes into Share Point system for FAB approval or CPAARS based on estimate; upon approval, order parts; schedule repairs when parts arrive 
This position will require the ability/willingness to work any shift as well as weekends

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 3+ years of technical work experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience working with CAD and CAD tools
  • 1+ years of experience working with MS Project or a similar project management software
Preferred Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Fundamental working knowledge of industrial facilities maintenance
  • Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms of safety, quality and throughput
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate leadership on One Ford (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, team building and communication skills
  • Prefer candidate with stationary engineering license
