Position Title: Production Control Coordinator-Scheduling
Position Overview:
Interpret, understand, plan, schedule, and proactively manage execution of the plant's Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) customer releases, production schedules, inventory, obsolescence, and supply chain management in order to ensure high quality, low cost, just in time flow of materials with no production department disruptions.

Responsibilities:
Communicate on a timely basis and have a sense of urgency to resolve issues that could negatively impact schedules
Assist in introduction of new parts to production through proactive planning and cross-functional communication
Execute and analyze/understand inputs and transactions in Ford's Common Manufacturing Management System (CMMS)
Identify data gaps in CMMS (missed advanced ship notices, missed production counts, receiving/shipping discrepancies, class 1 bailee transactions, etc.) and take corrective actions
Continuously drive for improved inventory record accuracy, and/or process improvements
Assist coordination of final balance outs and running changes to customers
Assist with disposition of obsolete materials
Assist in managing Class 1 inventory bailment activities
Provide MP&L team with daily line-up
Maintain CMMS part status and work center maintenance with proper part numbers
Respond to special counts to assure actual physical inventory balances match CMMS inventory records
Respond to customer schedule changes, react to quality containment and shipping and schedule changes as required
Assist with synchronous material flow planning and determining and resolving marketplace Minimum and Maximum inventory level issues
Assist in backing up MP&L salaried personnel as required to cover vacations, etc
Position's operating pattern supports production schedules weekly and on weekends as required
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma
3+ years of experience in the supply chain industry/area
1+ years of experience working with an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system
Preferred Requirements:
Manufacturing Plant experience desired but not required
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong ability to interface with plant hourly and salaried personnel, logistic carriers, and production suppliers
Strong analytical skills and quick decision making capability
Should react well under pressure and be able to work under crisis management when necessary
Basic understanding or ability to learn internal Ford material management and support systems
Proficient in computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
Experience with Common Manufacturing Management System (CMMS) preferred
Prior experience in Lean Manufacturing, New Model Launch, bailment, or related materials management functions preferred
Material Planning and Logistics experience desired
Bachelor's Degree
