BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGER

Chobani - New Berlin, NY

The Manager of Business Process effectiveness will be responsible for supporting Chobani Customer Service and Logistics group in developing process improvements in logistics operations and on how our tools are utilized. This person will work closely with our IT group to build and develop a roadmap of long term systems solutions and lead operational implementations that improve the way we work and the tools we use.  Leveraging and unleashing the powers of our current ERP solutions as well as developing and executing score carding of processes will be key job functions.  If not already, this person will need to become an expert in our AX ERP solution, how it works, and where the gaps exist that prevent process streamlining.

The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Acts as a liaison between the business (Customer Service and Logistics) and our IT teams
  • Work closely with IT on business process improvements and system solution implementations
  • Work closely with outside industry on best practices and controls around systems
  • Work collaboratively with IT, Production, Quality, Finance and Logistics
  • Support Customer Service, Distribution, and Transportation teams
  • Develop relationship with existing vendors (3PL and Transportation carriers) on EDI capabilities and system harmonization enhancement opportunities
  • Track and scorecard key metrics in current Warehouse and Transportation processes
  • Execute best practices in areas of Warehousing and Transportation
  • Provide direction on priorities of process improvements

The requirements of this position include:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field required.
  • Ability to lead and influence work groups that are not direct reports
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • A Business mindset with IT / systems understanding.
  • Proven strong analytical and attention to detail skills.
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, high energy and strong initiative. 
  • Process driven and proficient in project plan tracking and score carding.
  • WMS and TMS familiarity; understands EDI communication process and information sharing.
  • Ability to research, reconcile and communicate business data.
  • Displays adaptability and flexibility in changing business environments and roles.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professional demeanor.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX (ERP) expertise.
  • Transportation system (Oracle) expertise.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time between NY and Idaho
