Replenishment Assistant, Buffalo

Process Culinary Equipment & Supplies (CES) special orders, drop shipments and Exclusive Brand orders (Scoop™), including updating item pricing and requesting new product codes when needed.

 

Utilize AS400 system for invoiced orders, retrieving CES invoices through web retrieval and prepare customer billings and verify accuracy of billings, reviewing presold orders and communicate with Territory Managers (TM) in the event of a shortage.

 

Identify slow and dead products and execute the strategy to move products out of the warehouse by shipping/billing to vendors, transferring product to other US Foods’s Markets, and working with sales to sell products to customers

 

Execute the billing of all Vendor to Customer drop ship orders.

 

Approve customer credits for spoilage and out of date products. Research if these credits along with damage product credits can be billed back to the vendor

Accumulate vendor billings from Marketing, Category Management, and Replenishment and enter into CASIS billing system

 

Set up a tracking system for Dish, Chemical and Beverage equipment assets, including the sales of the associated products to customer who have this equipment

 

Assisting replenishment with the Alert Date process on short shelf life products, communicating demand changes to the Replenishment Service Center, and replenishment reporting

Education/Training:  High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college experience is preferred.

 

Related Experience/Requirements: At least one year experience in foodservice as an assistant or coordinator is required.  Examples:  Assistant to a foodservice Sales department or Coordinator for a replenishment team.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:  Past experience and current working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint are required.  The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with various cross-functional team members is critical. Must be technology savvy and have excellent time management skills.  Experience leveraging databases like AS400 strongly preferred.
