Hillside Family of Agencies has an opening for a Quality Improvement Specialist in Buffalo, NY. This position is Full Time - 40 hours - Monday - Friday - 8am to 5pm.
The Quality Improvement Specialist ensures that the assigned programs use the quality and compliance tools provided to remain in full compliance with all regulatory requirements and in a manner that reflects the highest standards and best practices while creating excellent outcomes for program participants in a youth guided and family driven manner.
The Quality Improvement Specialist will provide compliance, privacy and quality improvement support to programs across assigned HFA Service Affiliates by partnering and collaborating with program staff. No direct supervision although provides critical and necessary direction to peer level and above on areas of specialized knowledge and relied upon for associated judgment and decision making. Input is essential to maintaining organization compliance with funder and accreditation requirements and other regulations as well as fidelity to practice standards. Also responsible for process improvement projects and teams, Corporate Compliance and privacy breach investigations.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or related field and at least 2 years’ experience working in health or human services required. Master’s degree with experience in a Medicaid funded program preferred. Applicants must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and must meet the agencies driving and insurance standards.
